Remembering September 11

Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement in honor of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

“Eight years ago today, thousands of innocent Americans died at the hands of terrorists,” said Congressman Price. “That terrible day shocked a nation, but the unbreakable American spirit ensured we would not be cowed by our assailants. From the moment of the attacks, Americans answered the call to stand up and fight back. The United States and our allies continue to face terrorist threats, and we must not stop our efforts to find and eliminate them.

“The victims of the September 11 attacks should hold a special place of reverence in all our hearts. The memory of those who died that day and those who have since given their lives in the fight against terrorism will always be with us. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families and to the men and women who even today stand on the front lines protecting our freedom.”
